Me: *caught offguard* Huh? No!
Mom: *even more serious* Marami bang nagpplank sa inyo? Delikado yun. Don’t plank, anak.
Me: *stifled laughter* Um okay.
Rarely have I been ensnared so much by a film. I remember reading this book more than a decade ago and not really understanding what it meant. I think I’ll have to unearth my old copy again.
This particular screenshot reminds me a lot of Renoir’s La Promenade, maybe because of the background of spring, or the expressions of the two lovers, or maybe because I’m no art buff and the scene just happens to encapsulate one of the few pieces of artwork I truly understand and love.
New go-to place which actually makes a decent latte. :)
